General characteristics: Special heat-resistant silicone-based paint for the
decoration and protection of engines. Also suitable for all other surfaces exposed to heat.
Quality and properties: Very good adhesion, fast drying, good coverage, good
flow, very good filling, protects against moisture and dirt, free of pigments consisting of heavy metals and gases considered harmful to the ozone layer.
Application cycle: The varnish is applied to cold surfaces. 24 hours after application, the material must be pre-baked at 160°-200°C for approx. 45 minutes, so that the paint can perform its function. Do not pre-bake at lower temperatures than indicated. Use the can at 20 - 25° C, shake the can for a few minutes, spray at a distance of approx. 20/25cm from the surface to be treated keeping it vertical. To obtain an even application of the product, it is advisable to shake the can occasionally during use.
Apply in light, crossed passes, first vertically and then horizontally.
Practical tips:
With cold temperatures, pre-heat the cylinder in hot water to a temperature of 20 - 25°C. Do not use other heat sources such as flames, heaters, fireplaces, stoves, sunlight, heated surfaces etc. Do not apply in the presence of excessive humidity and at temperatures below 15° C. Remove paint with acetone and/or nitro thinner.
